Better results mean more choice and opportunity. So pick up a few new study tips, and prove your outstanding ability in your assignments and exams!

 1. Building an Understanding :

Learning is a process similar to building a house. You aren’t fed the complete picture. Limitations on communication prevent the instantaneous transmission of knowledge. Instead, you listen to lectures, read textbooks and take painstaking notes to try and comprehend a subject.

You are fed building supplies, bricks, mortar and glass. It is up to you to assemble the building. Unfortunately, most learning strategies fall into two basic types:

  1. Memorization – Instead of building anything you simply stare at each brick for several minutes trying to record its position.
  2. Formulas – This is the equivalent to being blind, fumbling around a new house. You can’t see the building itself but you learn to come up with simple rules to avoid walking into walls.

2. Review your notes quickly and often :

After a lecture or class, read through your notes quickly again. It helps store the information in your long-term memory.

3. Don’t multitask :

The data is conclusive: Multitasking makes you less productive, more distracted, and dumber. The studies even show that people who claim to be good at multitasking aren’t actually better at it than the average person.

Effective students focus on just one thing at a time. So don’t try to study while also intermittently replying to text messages, watching TV, and checking your Twitter feed.

Here are some suggestions to improve your concentration:

  • Turn off notifications on your phone
  • Put your phone away, or turn it to airplane mode
  • Log out of all instant messaging programs
  • Turn off the Internet access on your computer
  • Close all of your Internet browser windows that aren’t related to the assignment you’re working on
  • Clear the clutter from your study area

4. Explain things to others :

It helps you get things clearer in your head if you try to explain your answers verbally to people who do not know much about the subject. Your parents and annoying siblings could be useful for this!

5. Trust your instincts :

If you’re under pressure in an exam, don’t second-guess yourself. In most cases, the first answer you think of will be the right one. If you’re really not sure, make a note of it and move on – you can always come back later if you have time.

6. Plan ahead :

Make sure you allow enough time for assignments and exam revision. At the beginning of each term, note down due dates and exam dates on a planner, and schedule in time for research, editing and final review.

7. Stay positive :

It all comes down to attitude. Be enthusiastic about your subjects, and use positive affirmations to tell yourself that you will succeed and meet your goals.

8. Get together with a study group :

You can still have a social life and study – get together with your friends and a pizza, and share ideas or test each other. You might get a new perspective on a topic, or work out a better way to approach an assignment. Online groups can work for this too – although cyber-pizza is not as tasty.

  6. I was sitting in my kitchen drinking a cup of coffee and cleaning my camera . I was really down and the rain outside didn’t help. I had just turned 78. I had lost my wife last year after a short battle with cancer. I missed her terribly. We had been married for almost 60 years. Little did I know my life was going to change.

I was thinking about selling our home since the reason for buying such a big home was gone. It was large because my wife had several sewing machines and needed the room. It was a pre-manufactured home with about 2,000 square feet. Due to our snoring, I lived in one end of the home in a small bedroom and she had lived in the other end in the master bedroom. Around the walls were pictures of my wife that I had taken when we were younger. Almost all were her in the nude. She was a great model and very beautiful.

I was getting up to get another cup of coffee when the doorbell rang. I don’t get visitors and even my daughters didn’t visit very often. I opened the door and there stood a beautiful young woman. She was about 5′ 4″ with long dark hair. She was wearing a halter top and I could see she had, although small, great tits. It took me several seconds to recognize she was my new next door neighbor. She and her husband had just recently moved in.

She said I’m Jennifer your next door neighbor. I said good morning and asked her if she wanted a cup of coffee. She said that would be great and followed me into the kitchen. I noticed her looking at all the nude photos of my wife. When we sat down I told her those were pictures of my late wife. She asked if I was a photographer and I said not a professional one. I now take general pictures, usually of flowers and sunsets. We talked for a little while about various subject. She finally said the reason she came over was to see if she could use my phone. They were trying get a phone of their own installed. I handed her my cell phone. I went to get us more coffee as I heard her talking. I heard her say that was more than they could afford. As I came back I could see tears in her eyes. As I handed her a tissue she said they were having financial problems. She got up to go and thanked me for the coffee. As I walked her out she stopped to look at my wife’s pictures. Before I could stop my mouth I said I had a lot more in my side of the house. She smiled and said she would like to see them sometime. She walked out and I had a view of the beautiful tight ass. I thought to myself that her husband was very lucky.
